Overhead Damage
Overhead damage is damage caused by a collision with the part of the vehicle that is more than 1.90 meters above the ground or by collision with objects attached to the vehicle that are more than 1.90 meters above the ground.
An excess of €3500 (private individuals) and €5000 (business customers) applies to this damage. This selfrisk cannot be bought off or reduced.
Why does Oscar charge a deposit?
We charge a deposit to be sure the car is returned in the same condision as it was received in. If you deliver back the car in the same condition ther reserved amount will be released to your account again. If additional costs have been incurred such as extra kilometers, missing fuel, fines or similar, this can be deducted from your deposit.
